Dark Time recounts the frantic search for a wife and mother gone missing after being rescued in the "Miracle on the Hudson." The trail of Keira Wilkes leads north, far into Canada, and her husband Martin takes up the task of finding her. The quest leads to a small Nunavut hamlet near the Arctic Circle, then north again to the depths of the Canadian winter. As the days get shorter and the light dimmer, Martin comes to a shocking realization; he never knew his wife, or himself, very well.
